    France : a Safe and
    Sustainable Agri-Food Power

Rooted in the diversity of its regional products, the French agri-food industry is now both one of the most competitive and one of the safest in the world.

Deeply committed to its products’ traceability, France boasts over a hundred “appellations contrôlées,” which preserve both a deep bond with their region and respect for traditional know-how.

Aware of the key challenges of our times (generational turnover, the agro-ecological transition, adapting to climate change and more), France’s agri-food industry is also one of the most innovative in the world: French AgriTech and FoodTech are finding concrete solutions that create value and are good for the entire food-supply chain, from producers to consumers.

Lastly, attentive to the need to preserve the environment and to commit to sustainable production, France – the European Union’s largest agricultural power – has also distinguished itself as a driving force for organic food in Europe.
