French Pavilion at Apas Show 2023

Globally well-known as the largest food and beverage industry event in the Americas, and the largest event for the various-sized retail industry in the world, the Apas Show 2023 (APAS – Association of Supermarkets of São Paulo) will take place in São Paulo from May 15 to 17. Its new concept “much more than food” consists in offering absolutely everything that is most relevant to industry: food and beverage, but also technology and innovation. The trade fair will welcome nearly 1,000 exhibitors from all over the world and expects more than 120,000 visitors.

As a national agency supporting the internationalization of the French economy, Business France is taking part in this important event for its Agrifood sector for several years, with the aim of promoting the brand dedicated to French agriculture and gastronomy: TASTE FRANCE. After winning the prestigious POPAI prize for the best international stand in 2022, the French Pavilion will present 12 French companies in the food and beverages sector this year.

The French Pavilion will showcase the French offer, in line with new trends of consumption in Brazil. Famous brands will exhibit in the Pavilion, such as Lesaffre (yeasts), Isigny Ste. Mère (butter and cheese) and Charbonneaux-Brabant, with its Vigean and Delouis brands (olive oils, mustards, and vinegars). La Popote (pâtés and terrines) and France Panificação will be present aslo in the food area of the pavilion.

With more than 130sqm, the pavilion will also host two large Interprofessions, the CNIELNational Interprofessional Center for the Dairy Economy, which, through the agency Interamerican Network, will present its campaign “Prazeres da Europa | Queijos da França”, launched in 2022 ; and ANIVINAssociation for the promotion of the Vin De France category, which has been investing 2019 in its “Brinde à Alegria de Viver” campaign, in partnership with various supermarkets, e-commerces platforms and distributors in Brazil.

Great attraction of the French Pavilion, the traditional tasting bar of the ANIVIN DE FRANCE will be the flagship of the area dedicated to French wines and spirits, with prestigious brands such as Boisset – La Famille des Grands Vins, LGI Wines, Vignobles Vellas, Domaines Aimé-Arnoux and Sieur d’Arques. Focusing on new consumer trends in Brazil, Domaine du Louvre (Armagnacs) and Ôbe Hard Seltzers, complete the French delegation for 2022.
